PREGNANCY, POSTPARTUM, & PARENTHOOD
INDIVIDUAL & COUPLES THERAPY OFFERED ONLINE AND IN-PERSON ACROSS PENNSYLVANIA, NEW HAMPSHIRE, & WASHINGTON D.C.
YOU WERE NEVER MEANT TO CARRY THIS SEASON ALONE.
We spend so much time preparing for birth, yet so little time talking about the emotional and mental health changes that can come with becoming a parent.
If this season feels harder than you expected, you are not alone—and support is available.
Growing your family can bring joy, excitement, and deep love. It can also bring unexpected challenges. You may find yourself feeling overwhelmed or anxious, disconnected from yourself or your partner, grieving your pre-parent identity, or wondering why this transition feels more difficult than you imagined.
I provide therapy for individuals and couples navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, fertility challenges, and the complex emotional experience of becoming a parent. Together, we create space to process what you’re carrying while building practical tools to help you feel more grounded, supported, and connected.
Perinatal Therapy may be for you if
✦ You're experiencing anxiety during pregnancy or after birth.
✦ You feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or unlike yourself.
✦ You're struggling with postpartum depression or mood changes.
✦ You're navigating intrusive thoughts or heightened worry about your baby's safety.
✦ The transition to parenthood has impacted your relationship.
✦ You're grieving infertility, pregnancy loss, or a difficult birth experience.
✦ You're finding it difficult to balance your identity beyond being a parent.
✦ You're coping with feeding challenges or body image changes during pregnancy and postpartum.
✦ You simply need a space that is focused on you during this major life transition.
RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE
If you are looking for additional support or resources, Postpartum Support International offers education, support groups, and a helpline for perinatal mental health concerns.
There is space for who you were and who you are becoming.
There is no "right" way to experience pregnancy or parenthood.
Therapy is not about helping you become a perfect parent—it's about helping you feel more connected to yourself, your values, and the support systems around you.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and attachment-based approaches, we'll work together to understand what you're experiencing, strengthen coping skills, and foster resilience during this season of change.
Whether this is your first child or you're expanding your family, therapy offers a space where you don't have to hold everything on your own.
