Hi, I’m Rachael Ananian.
I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist offering therapy for individuals, couples, and families in Pennsylvania and New Hampshire. I’m also the founder of Nourished Resilience, a practice rooted in the belief that healing happens in safe, connected relationships—within ourselves and with others.
I work with adolescents (14+), adults, and couples navigating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and relationship concerns. I also help clients explore the impact of family-of-origin dynamics and rebuild trust in themselves and their relationships. With training in both individual and relational systems, I offer therapy that honors the complexity of your inner and outer worlds.
In addition to clinical work, I’ve held leadership roles in supervision and program development, and I bring that depth of experience into each session. Whether you're seeking clarity, change, or connection, I meet you with warmth, transparency, and a belief in your resilience.
My Approach
My approach to care is relational, inclusive, and deeply collaborative. I aim to create a space where you feel grounded, heard, and empowered. Rooted in systemic theory, I look at the patterns and relationships shaping your experience—not just the symptoms—to help create sustainable change.
I draw from evidence-based modalities like CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and narrative therapy, always tailoring treatment to your unique needs and goals. As a HAES-aligned clinician, I provide weight-inclusive care that challenges diet culture and affirms body diversity. Whether we’re unpacking relational conflict, identity concerns, disordered eating, or emotional overwhelm, I approach our work with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your lived experience.
