Meaningful change starts with authentic connection.
Meet Rachael Ananian, licensed therapist offering online & in-person services across Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, & Washington D.C.
YOU’RE CARRYING MORE THAN ANYONE REALIZES.
Maybe your relationship feels disconnected despite how deeply you care for each other. Maybe you're exhausted from the constant mental noise around food, body image, or trying to be "good enough." Perhaps you're navigating pregnancy, postpartum, or the transition into parenthood and wondering why this season feels so much harder than you expected. Or maybe you're simply tired of holding everything together on your own.
Whatever brings you here, I want you to know that you don't have to figure it out alone.
I'm Rachael Ananian, LMFT, CEDS, founder of Nourished Resilience.
I am passionate about working with couples longing to reconnect, individuals navigating eating disorders and body image concerns, and parents finding their footing through pregnancy and early parenthood. Whether you're feeling disconnected from yourself, your partner, or the life you imagined, therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what you're carrying, and move toward meaningful change.
As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), I bring specialized training in the treatment of eating disorders and body image concerns, helping clients develop a more compassionate relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves. I believe healing happens within safe, authentic relationships—both the relationship we cultivate with ourselves and the connections we share with others. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Supporting parents through pregnancy and early parenthood has become a meaningful part of my work. As I continue specialized training toward becoming a Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) clinician, I remain committed to helping individuals and families navigate the emotional complexities of this season—one that can hold both profound joy and unexpected challenges.
I don't believe therapy is about fixing who you are. More often, meaningful change begins when we feel truly seen and understood. I strive to create a space where your experiences can be met with compassion, curiosity, and care—where you don't have to carry everything on your own, and where healing can unfold through being witnessed, supported, and empowered to move toward the life and relationships you want.
MY APPROACH
Therapy should be as unique as the people seeking it. Together, we'll find the approaches and interventions that best support your goals while honoring your strengths, values, and lived experiences.
-
CBT helps identify the thoughts and patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, stress, or self-doubt. Together, we'll develop practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.
-
Drawing from Gottman Method principles, I help couples strengthen communication, navigate conflict more effectively, and deepen friendship and connection in their relationship.
-
Our relationships shape how we experience safety, connection, and vulnerability. I integrate attachment-focused and emotionally informed interventions to help individuals and couples understand relationship patterns and build more secure connections.
Healing happens when we make space for what we've been carrying.
